One of the monthly gun magazines (or maybe all of them) start publishing Christmas wish lists from readers about this time of year.
It is an opportunity for readers to publicly voice what they wish manufacturers would produce, such as a rifle in particular caliber or configuration. So let's try it with Guncrafter Industries.
What do you wish GI would make for you? Post your ideas in this thread.
A small pistol in 50gi something i can carry in my pocket. The biggest pistol I carry in my pocket is a glock 27. if i cant carry it in my front pocket it always gets left home. $500 or less price tag
6" barrel for the glock conversion to squeeze more velocity out of the round
911 pistol in 50gi that I can afford or a parts gun I can assemble myself for less $$$
cheap hardcast bullet heads for plinking ammo

It would be interesting to see a glock .223/5.56 similar to the Kel-tec.

it have to be a GI creation?
i don't really care who makes it but was thinking something along the lines of necking down the GI case to .45 caliber would be interesting. kind of a .357sig, .400corbon type cartridge. not sure if it's necessary. but it'd be neat to see how it'd work.

WOW a .45WSSSM, that would be the Wincester Super Super Short Magnum.

just my two cents worth:it would be nice if they would make a case/no go gage for the
50 gi. haven't gotten mine yet,but i know like every one else i will be reloading when it
arrives.

You could just pull out the barrel when reloading and use it as a case gauge to verify rounds will feed. This won't be very much help with case length. For that you place your rounds in a tray of flat surface at eye level you could pick out any long or short ones. Caliper would work the best though for case length. Good Luck, GunWhoreDer

50 Gi on a glock 36 frame
I tried to work out the magazine to handle the GI but it's liner has a rib that hangs up the round, BUT..... I have converted a Glock 30 mag and can squeeze 6 rounds in it and all seem like they will feed (by hand anyway) when I was @ the ShotShow, I spoke to Alex and suggested many times that they should look @ the Glock 30. And now with the 185gr load it would be my choice for large caliber carry.

That's a great idea 475AR, a 50GI on 30 frame. Most of us here have a 30 plus all of the reload equipment for the 50GI all we got to do is purchase the upper! 185 gr with that short barrel perfect!
